John W. Bell passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. The Baltimore, Maryland resident was 75 years old. He was born in Baltimore on May 2, 1946 to the late Anna Marie (nee Jefferson) and Frank Augustus Bell. John was the beloved companion of the late Anna Rice for 56 years; cherished brother of William "Gus" A. Bell and wife Mazie, Henry T. Bell, Patricia A. Waddy, and the late Elaine L. Smith and her surviving husband Martin. He is also survived by Nicky Brown, Albert Rice, Jr., Shawn Rice, Dartanun Rice; grandchildren, Quartez Dorsey and Zahra Brown; as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Rd., Timonium, MD 21093 on Saturday, December 4 from 11-12 Noon with a memorial service to begin at 12 Noon.
