Also survived by many other family and friends.

Jack Corbett was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland.  He attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish School, Calvert Hall College High School, and Loyola University.  In his youth, he was celebrated as a gifted singer and a talented athlete.  Some of his fondest memories from growing up included… Attending Orioles games at Memorial Stadium, singing with the IHM Boys Choir, playing on the CHC varsity baseball and football teams, and simply hanging around "the old neighborhood" (Loch Raven Village) with his brothers and friends.  Jack's mother and father, Ruth and Stephen Corbett, Sr., always held a special place in his heart.

As an adult, Jack's entrepreneurial and independent spirit enabled him to achieve recognition and career success.  For many years, he worked as a regional salesman for several building & equipment supply companies. In his "retirement," he founded and operated his own lawn care business. Over the past 15 years, Jack lived in both Maryland and the Carolinas, making many new friends along the way.

In his free time, Jack enjoyed vacationing at the beach, coaching his children's sports teams, reading, playing golf, and celebrating holidays with his grandchildren.  His long-time educational sponsorship of several disadvantaged children in Nairobi, Kenya and his 2011 mission trip to Kenya were especially meaningful accomplishments. Throughout his life, Jack was appreciated by many as a fun-loving and supportive friend, an intelligent and hardworking teammate, and an inquisitive and faithful follower of Jesus Christ.  He will be missed.
