Jonathan Glenn Ingersoll of Lutherville, Maryland, beloved husband of Joanne Ellen (nee Bosley) Ingersoll and devoted father of Austin James Ingersoll unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, February 15 at the age of 66.

He was born on January 11, 1957 in Highland Park, Michigan to Harold and Doris (nee Motley) Ingersoll and was the 5th oldest of 10 siblings. He enjoyed woodworking and crafts, a skill his son did not inherit, as well as snacking on the occasional baked good, something his son did inherit. His second love in life, only topped by his devoted wife of 40 years Joanne, was the University of Michigan, whom he passionately followed and constantly boasted about their current 2 game win streak against the team up north and back to back conference titles.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Doris Ingersoll; parents-in-law, James and Marguerite Bosley; brother, John Ingersoll; and sisters, Marcella Shank, Joanne Klanke, Jill Dennis and Judith Ingersoll. He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne; son, Austin (fiancée, Samantha); siblings, Jacklynn Fairfield, Janet Bisard (spouse, Craig), Jimmy Ingersoll (spouse, Nina) and Kelly Ingersoll (spouse, Kristen); and sisters-in-law, Jean Ingersoll, Lorraine Wakeman, and Kimberly (husband, Todd) Muneses.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Wednesday, February 22 from 6 to 9 PM. A Funeral Service officiated by Deacon James Mann will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, February 23 beginning at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Park.
