Joseph John Bergmeister, 98, of Nottingham, Maryland, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Margaret. They were married on October 10, 1959. Together they raised a family and in later years, enjoyed foreign travel and flower arranging at Saint Joseph's Church Fullerton until her passing in 2006.

Joseph was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on August 22, 1927. He attended Catholic high
school in Philadelphia and, after graduation, served in the US Army at the end of World War II.
He later was employed by Remington Rand, providing typewriter repair services in
Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia, ultimately settling his family in Baltimore. He
eventually left the company to become co-owner of a business equipment firm until his
retirement.

He is survived by his children Judy Bergmeister England, Joseph Bergmeister III (Linda), and
Frank Adam Bergmeister, in addition to his grandchildren, Joseph Michael Bergmeister
(Kristin), Mary Alexandra Schafer (Walter), Mark Andrew Bergmeister (Katherine), and Julia
Delaney England. Joseph is great grandfather to Joseph and Kristin's children Blair Penelope
and Joseph Parker.

A private family service will be held at a future date.
