Lee Melanie Temple was born February 5, 1943 at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. She attended Bryn Mawr and graduated from Hannah More Academy in Reisterstown. She married Edward D. Martin in 1974 and resided in Timonium, Maryland. Lee was the office manager and bookkeeper for her husband's company Raymond, Martin & Fader and loved her rescue dogs, time by her pool and painting. Lee was the beloved wife of the late Edward D. Martin, loving daughter of the late Nell (nee Hurlock) and the late Lee William Temple, twin sister Nell Temple Purvis and her husband Oliver DuVal Purvis (Val), niece Stephanie Lee Armiger and husband Richard E. Armiger, nephew Temple Moore and his wife Nicole Moore, grand nephews Carter Temple Moore and Sylas Temple Moore.
