Lois "Jean" Gisner Jackson went home to Jesus on April 1, 2021 at age 85. Jean was born to the late Edith Strasser on October 10, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland. During her childhood, Jean enjoyed spending time with her cousins on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. She graduated from Eastern High School, Baltimore, MD, in 1954. Jean met her husband, Joseph "Bud" Jackson, on a blind date and they were married on December 11, 1954. Jean and Bud had three children, the late Linda Swift, Douglas and Glen Jackson. Jean is survived by her sons, Douglas and Glen Jackson, daughter-in-law, Patti Jackson, and grandchildren, James, Michael, and Ashlee Swift, Melanie Carroll, Samantha Newcomer, and Rebecca Jackson.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 13305 Long Green Pike, Hydes, MD 21082 on Monday, April 26 beginning at 10:00 AM.
