Margaret Denise Day, daughter of the late Margaret Lee Jones and the late Furman Day was born on February 7, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland. Margaret, so affectionately called Lee Lee by some family and friends and Maggie by her care giving staff at Life Inc. departed this life on Wednesday January 08, 2025.

Margaret, born weighing 2 lbs., was not expected to live very long, however she lived to be 63 years 11 months and 1 day. All praises to God.  Margaret attended school for the blind and special needs. After graduating at 21 years of age Margaret joined the Chimes program.

Margaret had a love for music and dancing. She also had a habit of playing with strings to keep her hands busy. Margaret was very loving but at the same time feisty.

Margaret leaves to mourn 4 brothers; Michael Cager, Furman Day, Jr., Liston Jones and Mark Jones and his wife Samantha, 9 sisters; Patsy Day, Christine Day, Hazel Day, Carol Ann Day, Janet Young and her husband Earl, Karen Jones-White and her husband Timothy, Marie Burke, Marsha Day and Shawntay Day; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her stepfather James House, 2 brothers; Daie Brown and Anthony Day and 2 Sisters; Diane Wilson and Vernita Omeko Day.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Thursday January 16 from 5 PM until 7 PM where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 17 beginning at 10:30 AM.  Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
