On August 6, 2025, Marilyn Virginia Overturf, 93 of Baltimore, cherished wife of the late Sterlin U. Overturf, devoted mother of David Russell Overturf, Donald M. Overturf and his wife Deborah and Susan J. Welsh and her husband Gary, beloved grandmother of Gary Russell Welsh and his wife Brandie and the late Timothy Sterlin Welsh, loving great-grandmother of Jerry Russell Welsh, and honorary grandmother of Nick Weese, Dominick, Serenity and Joel Callaway, beloved sister of Peggy Holland, Carol King and her husband Rob and the late Donald Mohr and G. Russell Rosenbaum, loving aunt of Kevin King and the late Michael Dunnigan. Also survived by all of her loved ones in Arkansas and loving extended family members and friends.

A Committal Service will be held at Druid Ridge Cemetery, 7900 Park Heights Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21208 on Monday, August 18 beginning at 11 AM (*If attending the service, please meet at the cemetery entrance and follow in procession to the graveside*) . The family will receive friends at her home from 12:30-3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Marilyn's name to The Mission Point Fellowship Grandmothers Prayer Fund, PO Box 126, Woodsboro, Maryland 21798.
