Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Simon (nee Eatmon), age 101, of Hampton, Maryland passed away peacefully at Stella Maris on Sunday, August 7, 2022. The beloved wife of the late F. Lester Simon, Jr. was born on a farm in Zebulon, NC. Libby moved to Baltimore after high school and worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Executives of Armco Steel Company. There she met her future husband, Les Simon, and they were married in 1967. Together they lived a happy and fulfilling life on Seminary Avenue and in Long Boat Key, Florida. Les died in 2009.

A lover of people and nature, Libby especially enjoyed caring for her three dogs (like children)! She was also an avid Orioles and Ravens fan.
Libby is survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Providence United Methodist Church, 1320 Providence Road, Towson, Maryland 21286 on Saturday, August 27 beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, remembrances of Libby may be donated to Providence UMC.
