Nancy Lee Starr (July 7, 1937 – March 20, 2026) passed away peacefully.

She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Calvin, with whom she shared a lifetime of partnership and love. Together, they built a family grounded in care, resilience, and enduring connection.

She was a lifelong member of Ashland Presbyterian Church, where she was actively involved in the choir—a role she truly loved. She also enjoyed reading and found great joy in music and singing.

She is survived by her children: Leslie Starr, Walter Starr, and Rob Starr and his wife, Kim. She was proud of her family and the life they shared.  She is also survived by her grandchildren: Katie Canady and her husband Andrew; Lauren Beaumont and her husband Tristan; Christian Starr and his wife Ashley; Zachary Keating; and Ryan Keating. Her great-grandson, Reid Canady, brought her great joy, and she looked forward to the arrival of two more great-grandchildren, Charlotte Starr and Isabella Beaumont.

She will be remembered for her steady presence, her care for her family, and the role she played in bringing everyone together. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held at Ashland Presbyterian Church, 116 Ashland Road, Hunt Valley, Maryland 21030 on Saturday, April 18 beginning at 1:00 p.m. All other services and the interment will be private.
