Nancy Ellen Woodring peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. The Timonium, Maryland resident was 84 years old. Nancy was born in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Dorothy Pearl (nee Ring) and George Blackmon Woodring. She was the adored sister of George B. Woodring, Jr. and Volney T. Woodring.

Nancy graduated from William and Mary University in 1961 and went to work for Baltimore County Public Schools in 1961. She retired in 1993 after a long and fulfilling teaching career. She will be missed by all the students whose lives she touched during her teaching career, as well as extended relatives and dear friends.

Services and interment will be private.
