J. Paul Klein, Jr. of Cockeysville, Maryland peacefully passed away surrounded by family on Friday, March 6, 2026. He was 87 years old. He was the loving son of the late Elsie L. (nee Amos) and John Paul Klein, Sr.; beloved wife of Elizabeth "Sue" (nee Lochary) Klein for 61 years; devoted father of Kelly S. Klein and John M. Klein (Alycia); proud grandfather of Ethan Pritchard (Baylee Anderson), Avery Lane (Steven), Abigayle Klein and Jenna Klein; cherished great grandfather of Jovie and River Lane; dear brother of the late Joan Carlson (John), Richard Klein, and the Gutberlet siblings who were such an important part of his life: Patti, Matt, the late Terry, Steve "Wish", Ron, Laurie, Charlotte "Charlie", Maria, J. Charles, and Suzannah.

The family will receive friends at St. Joseph's Parish, 100 Church Lane, Cockeysville, Maryland 21030 on Thursday, March 12 from 10-11 AM with a Funeral Mass celebrated by Msgr. Richard Hilgartner to begin at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
