Phillip Reynolds Groh, aged 22, of Timonium, Maryland, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, in a single vehicle motorcycle accident. Born on November 8, 2003, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Phillip was the eldest child of John and Natalia Groh and the absolute best big brother to Adam, Sophia, Karolena, and Nastasia Groh. A 2022 graduate of Dulaney High School, Phillip used his relentless drive to pursue a career as a Local 486 Steamfitter, HVAC&R technician, plumber, handyman, and mechanic. His mechanical inclination allowed him to excel in his career, hobbies, and community involvement.

Phillip’s memory is encapsulated by his joyous smile, indomitable determination, magnetic personality, and unwavering selflessness. What stood out the most was that every time you saw him, he’d have a positive attitude and treat you with the utmost respect. Whether you were a new acquaintance or lifelong friend, Phillip always made you feel exceptional.

Phillip was confirmed Catholic at St. Joseph Parish in Cockeysville and was also actively involved in the Hunt Valley Church Young Adults Ministry. The light and love of the Lord shone through Phillip in all he did. He was our helping hand, our comic relief, our first call for help, our brother, our friend, and our neighbor.

He loved his family, his friends, his jobs, his many motorized vehicles, and all the adventures that came along with them. Phillip is deeply missed by his parents, John and Natalia; his siblings, Adam, Sophia, Karolena, and Nastasia; his surviving grandparents, John and Mary Groh and Debbie O'Hara; and his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He will never be forgotten. 

Phillip’s Memorial Mass is being planned and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Additional details will be shared when available.

Phillip loved and cherished his freedom. All are welcome to display an American flag on their vehicles, especially pickup trucks, for 22 days in his memory.
