Phyllis Ann Keen, Ph.D. of Pompano Beach, Florida born in Tampa, Florida, passed away on Friday July 29, 2022, at the age of 88.  Beloved partner/wife of Donna "Pepper" Hull McDonald.

PK loved learning and teaching.  She taught at St. Mary's College of Maryland from 1973 until she retired in 2001.  She was on the cutting edge of AI (Artificial Intelligence).  She was instrumental in getting the first Apple computers on campus for students to use.

PK loved to hike, listen to music, cook, read mysteries, and collect antique cars.  She was a member of the MG Club of New England; with whom we took many LONG trips!!  I shared PK's passion and "NEED" to have dogs and cats in our various homes…

From 2004, we shared an ocean front condo in Southeast Florida.  We traveled the world in our 38 years together…I shopped…she read…

PK gave me a life I could never have even imagined…She really loved me.  (God knows WHY)??

PK gave eccentricity a whole new definition!!!  Around 2006, PK said to me one day, "I never wanted to live with anybody…AND I find you particularly annoying".  My response was simple.  "You might have mentioned that before you bought us this condo in 2001…or the house in 1990!"

Despite the fact I was 20 years younger…Somehow, we made it work!
