On Sunday November 24, 2024, Richard P. Jaffray, Jr. passed away suddenly from natural causes. Rick was a lifelong resident of Phoenix, Maryland.

Beloved husband to Donna Jaffray of over 25 years; devoted father of Eva May Kodak and Richard P. Jaffray, III. Rick is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his granddaughter Brianna Kelsey Peters. Extended family includes many nieces, nephews, cousins, and stepsisters who knew him as Uncle Rick.  Rick also loved his many pets but especially Bubby and Sweetie.

Lovingly referred to as Rick, Dick and Dickie, he wore his heart on his sleeve. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for a friend! A highly respected Master Mechanic "Extraordinaire", there was nothing he could not fix. A gentle giant and last of a dying breed.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Saturday, December 7 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, December 8 beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.
