Robert "Bob" Anthony Barrise passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

He is survived by his two daughters, Cheryl Davis (Howard) and Brenda Peiffer (Jonathan), and three grandchildren Carolyn Davis, Claire Peiffer, and Stephen Peiffer.  He is also survived by his siblings Linda, Donna, Susan, and Nick, and their families including many loving nieces, great-nieces and a great-nephew.  He is predeceased by his parents, Nicholas Barrise and Mildred Barrise (nee Mende), and his sister Bonnie Barrise.

Bob was born January 29, 1943, in Passaic, New Jersey.  He was a graduate of Pope Pius XII High School, class of 1961.  He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1964 to 1967, and was stationed in the United States and the Philippines. His working career included a variety of sales and training positions in the fields of insurance and finance, concluding with a position as a trainer at M&T Bank when he retired in 2008.  That year, Bob moved from New Jersey to South Carolina where he enjoyed playing golf often. In addition to golf, Bob enjoyed visiting with friends and family, playing games and cards, and rooting for his favorite sports teams, the NY Yankees and the NY Giants.

In Spring of 2024, Bob moved to Cockeysville, MD, to be closer to his daughters and their families who were caring for him as he managed several health issues.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Friday, November 15 from 6-8 PM. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, November 16 beginning at 11 AM. Interment will be private at Garrison Forest Veterans  Cemetery in Owings Mills, Maryland.
