On August 7, 2026; Robert Eugene Chrystal, Sr., 83. Cherished husband to the late Charlotte Wynnelle Chrystal, devoted father of Robert E. Chrystal, Jr. and his husband Christopher Jones, Daniel Scott and his wife Tania and Valerie Jean Adelung and her husband Jason, beloved grandfather of Margaux Chrystal, Miriam Chrystal, Lorelei Adelung, Tristan Adelung and Kyan Adelung, loving great-grandfather of Journey Chrystal and Jeremiah Williamson, loving brother of Jean Anne Binder and the late Elmer Leroy Chrystal, Jr.

Bob was a quiet man with a deep and abiding faith, and his love for God was woven into every part of his life. He was devoted to his church and deeply loyal to the people he loved, always offering his steady presence, his guidance, and his unwavering support. He was a man of discipline and strong character, someone his family could always count on. He found happiness in simple things, working in the yard, fishing and crabbing, and taking care of the people he loved. But more than anything, Bob will be remembered by his family for the quiet way he loved: faithfully, steadfastly, and without needing recognition. His absence leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, but the lessons he taught, the faith he shared, and the love he gave will remain with his family always.

A Visitation will be held at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Center, Timonium, on Monday, August 10, 2026 from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 12 PM. Interment to follow at Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Bob’s name to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research
