Robert Francis McCormick, 42, of Timonium, MD, passed away on March 27, 2024 following a lifelong battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Rob was born to James and Patricia McCormick in Baltimore, MD. After he graduated from Dulaney High School, Rob went on to earn degrees in math and communications from Goucher College.

Rob was predeceased by his father, James McCormick. He is survived by his mother, Trish McCormick, sisters, Tracy (Jack) Jebo, Shelly (Doug) Mock and nieces and nephews, Devon, Campbell and Thomas Jebo and Carter and Piper Mock.  He was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and nurses.

Rob's family and friends will remember Rob for his enormous heart.  He could connect genuinely with anyone and leave a lasting impression.  He was incredibly close with his mother, helping her and caring for her in more ways than can be counted.  He was a cherished uncle who could always find the perfect activity to do, the most creative gift, or the best movie to watch together.  He lived a joyous life full of his many passions, including sports, bird watching, music, cooking, Legos, puzzles, and board games.  Rob was a generous and loyal friend, maintaining lasting relationships with his MDA family.  He was the bravest and strongest person we knew.  He was our hero.
