Roland Eugene Smith, age 92, of Parkville, Maryland peacefully passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy M. (nee Shipman) Smith for 67 years before her passing in 2023; devoted father of Christopher, Gregory and Deborah Smith; proud grandfather of Bryan, Gregory, Jeremiah, Alysia, Evan, Kimberly, Dylan and Abigail; cherished great grandfather of Landen, Milana, Zoey, Aedan, Jack, James, Harrison and Madeline.

A Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Christine Parker will be held at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 4301 Raspe Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21206 on Saturday, October 24 beginning at 9 AM. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please remember Roland with memorial contributions to the church.
