On Wednesday, April 21, 2021 Shirley L. Reid of Baltimore, Maryland, age 71 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in San Francisco, California. Shirley retired as a social worker after over 30 years with the Baltimore County Department of Social Services. She was an active member and caring Stephen Minister with the Second Presbyterian Church. She was the beloved wife of the late Wendell E. Reid for 44 years; devoted mother of Michael and Jennifer Reid; cherished stepmother of Eric Reid; dear sister of Karen Hurley, Sharon Myers and Fred DeFalco; proud grandmother of Steven, Maria and Madison Reid; loving great grandmother of Lincoln Reid. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Second Presbyterian Church, 4200 St. Paul St., Baltimore, MD 21218 on Thursday, May 6 from 10-11 AM with a Celebration of Life to begin at 11 AM.
