With faith in the Lord's promise of eternal life, we announce the passing of Sister Andre Rothschild, Comboni Missionary Sister, who returned peacefully to God on December 26, 2025.

Sr. Andre was born on October 24, 1946, in Pensacola, Florida, and made her first vows on June 21, 1967. From 1967 to 1982 she served in Richmond, Virginia at Holy Angels Day Care and in a nursing home in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. From 1982 to 2006 she served in Kenya as teacher, vocation promoter, and Provincial Superior, dedicating her life to the evangelizing mission of the Church in the spirit of St. Daniel Comboni.

From 2006 until her passing, she ministered at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 5401 Loch Raven Boulevard, Baltimore, Maryland 21239, where services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026:

10:00 am Greeting of family, friends, and Sisters
10:30 am Words of Remembrance and Celebration of Life
11:00 am Memorial Mass
12:00 pm Hospitality

We invite family and friends to unite with us in prayer. Sr. Andre will be remembered for her missionary devotion, her love for the Church, and her closeness to the people she served.
