Steven Nathaniel Ross, age 51 of Edgewood, Maryland transitioned from this life into his Heavenly rest on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Steve or 'little Steven', as affectionately known by family and friends, was the beloved son of Benjamin C. Ross, III and the late Madelynne A. (nee Ragland) Ross.
Steve grew up in West Baltimore and graduated from Northwestern High School. After graduating, he joined the United States Navy. Throughout his professional career, Steve held various customer service and sales positions. Steve had many loves including trips to Ocean City, eating seafood, bowling, and grilling. He considered himself the grill master and was familiar with most spices and how to use them. He also loved animals, especially his dogs Mocha, Rusty, Peko, and Scooter. As an avid sports fan, Steve enjoyed football and watched the Baltimore Ravens every Sunday during the football season. He also enjoyed coaching little league football teams from time to time. Steve had a great sense of humor and often greeted you with a joke or two. He truly loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
Steve is preceded in death by his mother, grandparents, Blanche Ragland; Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin C. Ross, Jr., one uncle, Stephen Ross, one aunt, Anita Brooks, his cousin Pamela Ross, and a close friend, Reginald Johnson.
