On Monday, June 6, 2022 Susan M. (nee Merendino) Ashley passed away at her Lutherville home. She was 78 years old. Susan was the beloved wife of Janet Gautier; devoted mother of Andrea Cooperman, Bradley McMillan, Randal McMillan and his wife Carrie and Chad Gautier; proud grandmother of Joseph Whaley, Ryan Rivera-Whaley, Carley Cooperman, Michael Cooperman, Alexandra McMillan, Zachary McMillan, Spencer McMillan and Jenna Gautier; dear sister of Diane Kunzer, Anna Szmajda and the late Gwendolyn Raudsep; cherished cousin of Carol Hogeboom.

Susan was a self employed occupational therapist for over 40 years. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed pottery, watercolor painting, knitting and stained glass artistry.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Friday, June 24 from 6-9 PM. Interment will be private.
