Teresa "Terri" Joan Nolker was born on August 30,1970 in Baltimore, Maryland. She peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 18th, 2024 at Johns Hopkins Hospital Epilepsy Monitoring Unit with her family at her side. Terri had Dravet Syndrome, the most severe of Epilepsy conditions, all of her life. She succumbed to this syndrome after many years of hospital stays and introductions to new medications. This last year was the most difficult with this last stay in the hospital making her unable to bounce back for another fight.

Terri was a joyful person with a contagious laugh and smile. Her enthusiasm for music and dancing made those around ready to party. She had a sassy personality that at times could make the most patient person frustrated but eventually all you could do was smile and say, "Well that's Terri for you."  Her favorite activities were movies, bowling, BINGO, sewing, and wearing a favorite T-shirt every day. She was the Ravens and Orioles #1 fan and always wore those baseball hats with her big sunglasses when she was ready to take on the town. Her nails were done, and her hair was always in a scrunchie with her jewelry sparkling all over.

Terri was the first born to Joan and Henry Nolker. Older sister of Amy and Mark (Robyn).  Aunt TT to nephew Garrett, nieces Brooke, Ella and Briea.

Please join us in celebrating the life of Terri at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, MD 21093 on Friday, August 23 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with a Funeral Service in the chapel beginning at 8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, please remember Terri with memorial contributions to CURE Epilepsy or Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Neurology, Kalman Bokow Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine, 550 N.
