On Saturday, May 25, 2024, Yance W. Vinson of Nottingham, Maryland passed away. Vinson was retired from the US AirForce after serving 20 years and 4 days.  In 1991 he retired from the Social Security Administration. He was the beloved husband of the late Cecelia R. Vinson; devoted father of the late Patricia Rouch, Stephanie Merritt and Shawn Vinson and his wife Brandy; proud grandfather of Brandon James Dabbs, Hailla Vinson and Brooke Vinson. Also survived by four (4) sisters-in-law, three (3) brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at  Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, 2325 York Road, Timonium, MD 21093 on Wednesday,  June 12, 2024 from 2pm-4pm & 6pm-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Peaceful Alternatives on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM.  The interment will follow the service at Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1601 Taylor Avenue, Parkville, MD 21234.
