Young Bok Chung passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026. He is survived by his devoted wife, Koon Ja Chung, and his children Paul (Jung) and Peter (Pam). He was the proud grandparent to Jack, Jacob, Emily and Eric. He was deeply devoted to his family and was well known for his "camera" shots at all of the family functions. Those who knew him will remember him as a good man, deeply dependable, generous and kind. He will be forever missed by those who knew him, but remembered fondly as a person who loved life, his family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Friday, January 16 from 5-8 PM. Mr. Chung will lie-in-state at the Holy Korean Martyrs Catholic Church, 5801 Security Boulevard, Gwynn Oak, Maryland 21207 on Saturday, January 17 from 9:30-10 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Fr. Kim to begin at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
